I am off walking again. Last year I walked from Cape Regina at the very northern point of New Zealand, to Hamilton which is where I was born. This first section was 869 kms long (540 miles). Now I plan to walk from Hamilton to Wellington and the southern tip of the North Island. This second section is 941 kms (585 miles), and will take me through the heart of the North Island, Whanganui, Manawatu and the Kapiti Coast. So looking forward to this next section.
I plan to blog as often as I can. Please feel free to follow along. The blogs can be found here. The map shows where I am at the moment. You can also follow my tracker which is powered by Garmin. Just goto to share.garmin.com/share/teararoa2024 and the password is sunshine. You can even send me messages if you wish.
