Tuktoyaktuk

We left Dawson City on Sep 4th and arrived at the shores of the Arctic Ocean in Tuktoyaktuk on Sep 6th, after 3 days on the Dempster Hwy and the new road from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk.

Start of the Dempster Hwy, 40km south of Dawson City.
Molly is all ready to tackle the Dempster.
Lunch spot on day one.
Camping spot on a beach on the Ogilvie River. Priceless.
Experiencing the Dempster Hwy in full autumn attire. Priceless.
Crossing into the Northwest Territories, Canada.
Second of two free ferry crossings that are part of the Dempster Hwy.
Inuvik general grocery store.
The all-weather road from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktok officially opened to traffic in 2017.
And thanks to this amazing feat of road engineering we are now here with Molly.
