Friday and Saturday, September 1st and 2nd, 2023
Comox is in the center of the island and not far from where we camped the previous night. Along the way we stopped at a super nice beach to do a bit of beach walking. Comox might not be high on the list of places to visit, but for us we have a dear friend living there, who we hadn’t seen her in years. And now was our chance to remedy that. We had a wonderful couple of days, catching up and exploring the area, including plonking ourselves down on Airport Beach to enjoy the sun and sundowners at Kingfisher Lodge. Our friend gave us some advice on places to go, including a must visit to her brother on Malcolm Island. Her brother would have more advice once we got there.
