FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH AND 9TH, 2023
Short drive to Woss to resupply and then onto Lake Klaklakama for the night. The second day was beautiful and sunny so we stayed for two nights. The first night we talked all night to 3 “pickers” who were in the forest to forage for wild berries and mushrooms. Being local and working for 10 years in the forest, they really knew the area well, and gave us some hot tips on places to go. This is becoming a theme, locals tell us where to go, and there we meet more locals that continue to give us advice.
