It has started. So far I have walked from Cape Reinga to Hamilton completing my first section of 4 sections. At the end of 2024, I will walk the second section from Hamilton to Wellington. And later I will attempt the final two sections in the South Island.
Due to a track closure in the far North, I had to go back and do the first 20 kms once the track re-opened. Technically I still have to walk across Auckland, and I will certainly do that one-day.
