It took us several weeks, but we finally made it to Comfort Texas. Here we rendezvoused with friends and other earthcruiser owners. The weather forecast was not good, but we decided to stay put instead of chasing better weather. And it is easier to drink beer and wine when not driving.
Unfortunately we did not really see the sun during the eclipse, but it did go dark all around us and we had a good experience regardless. It was a super fun day. Next eclipse is in Spain, August 2026.
