Near Fort Davis is McDonald Observatory. There is quite some history at this site, as it dates back to 1939. We took a tour of the site and enjoyed walking around. Molly again started to act up, so the visit was cut short a little.
We spent two nights at Prude Ranch and enjoyed evening drinks with Em’n’Bec and Christoph and Evelyn. It is nice to talk to like minded adventure travelers. Christoph and Em also helped debug the issues with Molly. We added a little oil and inspected a suspicious oil leak. Also got the new power supply for Molly finally working.
